Great success for Tim Pütz at the last major tournament highlight of the 2021 season: The German is in the final of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Paris-Bercy with his partner Michael Venus from New Zealand. The two prevailed in the semi-finals on Saturday afternoon against Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares 7: 5, 6: 3 and will get it tomorrow in the final either with the Australian-Slovak pairing John Peers and Filip Polasek (No. 7 of the tournament) or with the Local heroes Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut (3) do.

Pütz and Venus started the tournament in the French capital unsettled and defeated the Italians Fabio Fognini / Lorenzo Sonego, Rajeev Ram (USA) / Joe Salisbury (Great Britain) and Pütz's compatriot Andreas Mies on their way to the semi-finals by the French Fabrice Martin, each in two sentences. The Frankfurt and the man from Auckland won the ATP World Tour 500 tournament in Hamburg in 2021. Tomorrow Pütz has the chance of his fourth title this year at the ATP Tour level.
