ATP Stuttgart: Nick Kyrgios bends Nikoloz Basilashvili, now against Fucsovics
Nick Kyrgios is in the quarterfinals of the ATP 250 event in Stuttgart. The Australian turned a 0-1 set deficit against Nikoloz Basilashvili and now meets Marton Fucsovics , who surprised against Hubert Hurkacz .

Real Nick Kyrgios magic came midway through the second set when the Australian ran with his forehand and fired what was arguably the toughest winner of the day, if not the entire tournament week, at his opponent Nikoloz Basilashviliv. Until then, the effant terrible had been anything but smooth, set one went to the Georgian Basilashvili in the tie-break.
In round two, however, Kyrgios increasingly took control, made the break and equalized the set 6: 4. The third set was again balanced, but with the score at 3:3 it was again the Australian who should succeed in breaking.
Kyrgios vs Fuscovics
Kyrgios couldn't take that anymore, with 6: 7 (4), 6: 4 and 6: 3 the world number 78 solved. finally his ticket for the round of eight. Where it is now somewhat surprising against Marton Fucsovics, who kept the upper hand against Hubert Hurkacz in three contested sets.
Also in the quarterfinals are Andy Murray and Stefanos Tsitsipas, who meet in the round of eight.
