Celebrities against professionals at the Rado ProAm tennis tournament in Vienna
This year, local celebs and tennis players will give their hands on the handle - or rather the bat - at the Rado ProAm tournament on 20 October in the Vienna Colony Club.

The kick-off event at the Erste Bank Open guarantees exciting rallies between professionals and familiar faces from the Austrian sports, society and economy scene. Local tennis greats such as Thomas Muster, Stefan Koubek, Clemens Trimmel, Hans Kary, Niki Hofmanova and Marion Maruska showed their skills at the court and gave the amateurs nothing. But among the prominent participants, the ambition was also great: football legend Toni Polster and entertainer Tricky Niki already counted to proven participants and chased the felt ball on the net. ProAm newcomers such as singer and ski double world champion Elisabeth "Lizz" Görgl or TV presenter Stefan Gehrer also proved their tennis skills. The two international tennis stars Jürgen Melzer and Oliver Marach also insisted on stopping by and cheering on the participants.
The celebrities played with the pros in mixed teams, with the fun and joy of playing in the foreground. For Gerry Frank, international top photographer, it was not quite enough for the victory, but nevertheless the joy was great: "Playing with these world-class players is a dream - I'll sleep well tonight." Elisabeth Görgl summed up: " It is very, very funny. In general, playing tennis is great, plus the great athletes who are there - and very forgiving if you can not do it that well - make the whole thing very, very nice. "Following the tournament, the singer performed her current hits live , The honorary prize, a Rado HyperChrome Match Point, was presented by Erste Bank Open Tournament Director Herwig Straka, Rado Austria Brand Manager Peter Gauss and Colony Club Managing Director Johannes Graski to the player, who not only excelled in this tournament: Paralympic participant Nico Langmann, himself was visibly pleased: "Everything here was a highlight and the Rado clock as an honorary award is the crown on the whole."
