When Lacoste signed Daniil Medvedev in March 2019, the young Russian player was on the rise. The brand with the crocodile, which has always remained true to its own values, decided to accompany this rising star in the tennis world. Indeed, Daniil Medvedev represents the audacity of the talented young generation who now regularly take part in the four biggest tournaments of the season. His style of play and determination on the court allow him to shake up the top of the tennis world. He proved this again last week with his title win in Paris.
In the spirit of the founder of the Lacoste brand, and more recently often embodied by Novak Djokovic, it is the elegance of the game and the spirit that Lacoste wants to pass on by extending this contract with Medvedev.
Lacoste has also announced that it intends to continue to support young up-and-coming stars in their athletic advancement.
