Erste Bank Open: Thiem opens against Paul - then Medvedev waits
Dominic Thiem starts at the Erste Bank Open 2022 against Tommy Paul. Then it could go against tournament favorite Daniil Medvedev.

Exciting task for Dominic Thiem at the Erste Bank Open 2022. The Austrian, winner in Vienna 2019, has to start against Tommy Paul from the USA. If Thiem wins, round two would probably be against Daniil Medvedev. The Russian opens against Nikoloz Basilashvili.
Filip Misolic got himself a date with Francisco Cerundolo, Jurij Rodionov a reunion with Denis Shapovalov, whom he defeated two years ago. And Dennis Novak can play number two, Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Greek is still playing against Emil Ruusuvuori in the semifinals in Stockholm today.
