The 22-year-old from Hamburg confirmed after his opening win at the French Open to the TV station "Tennis Channel" that he and the eight-time Grand Slam winner "have not finished anything, we continue to work together". Lendl will oversee Alexander Zverev 's entire lawn season.

Lendl supports Zverev to Paris
Despite announcements to the contrary, Lendl is not on site in Paris. At the end of April, Zverev said on the sidelines of the ATP tournament in Munich that his coach would largely miss the clay court season in Europe due to an allergy, but would come to Roland Garros. "He's coming right after the French Open to prepare me for the grass season," said Zverev.
