Generali Austrian Pro Series: Tamira Paszek before comeback
At the Generali Austrian Pro Series , one name in particular brought great joy - that of Tamira Paszek . The 29-year-old wants to intervene again after many injuries and attempts to make a comeback.

The joy of tennis was "always preserved", said Paszek on Monday evening at "Kasi Live" (Instagram: tennisnetnews ).
Paszek had drawn attention early in her career, got her first of three titles (in Eastbourne) at just 15 and reached the Wimbledon quarter-finals in 2011 and 2012. Your best ranking: 26th.
However, many injuries have so far made it impossible. "It was an arduous phase, I wanted to make a comeback three or four times," said Paszek, who also made good use of her time off the pitch, she said. She is currently in training in Dornbirn, "I train as best I can. Physically, it works, let's see how it goes in the matches."

Paszek is happy to be able to compete in the Generali Austrian Pro Series. "A cool initiative that we have the opportunity to play matches. For me it's a highlight to be back on the pitch."
Co-organizer Alex Antonitsch is also full of praise for his compatriot. "I saw her at the Talents Forum when I was twelve, an exceptional talent. She was there brutally early. I am absolutely delighted that she is back."
The Generali Austrian Pro Series starts on May 25th at the federal performance center in Südstadt. The total prize money is 151,750 euros.
