It's nothing with a Kohlschreiber run in Hamburg: After his strong start on Monday against Jaume Munar, Kohli lost his second match at Hamburg's Rothenbaum.

Kohlschreiber and Krajinovic had a close match in the first two sets. Especially in set 1 everything stayed in line until the end, then Krajinovic got two set balls. Kohlschreiber fended off the first chance with a successful net action, at the second he acted too passively, it was Krajinovic who then completed with a volley. Also in the second round the spectators at Rothenbaum experienced a close match with no great chances for the setback, here it was Kohlschreiber who earned a 0:40 at 4: 4, used his third break chance and then safely served it.

In the decisive set, Krajonovic quickly moved away to 5: 1, Kohlschreiber fended off three match points in a long service game of his opponent and then stopped, but Krajinovic closed the sack when he followed suit 56 percent the point when he had to go through the second service, Kohlschreiber only 38 percent.

"I think I controlled the match. But he improved. I'm glad I won in the third set," said Krajinovic afterwards.

He will meet the winner of the game between the top seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas and Dominik Koepfer in the quarter-finals. The two play the third match of the day.
