The fans' cheers knew no bounds when Rafael Nadal entered the largest court in Paris. It was hard to imagine that in this setting, points and games were not yet at stake, but that the Spaniard was just about to have his first training session. At second glance, it was clear that not all of the seats in the large arena were occupied, which was a given for the first match.

Currently, everything indicates that Rafael Nadal will play his first Grand Slam match since January 2023. After his comeback at the beginning of the year, the former world number one canceled his start in Melbourne at short notice. The 37-year-old returned to the tour in Madrid and Rome.
