A world-class tournament as an event for the whole family: At the 46th Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, all tennis fans will once again experience an exciting mix of top-class sport and entertainment. Nine players from the top 10 are at the start, with 16 from the top 20 in the world rankings, the starting field of the traditional tournament from April 15th to 23rd in the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart is once again at Grand Slam level. The world elite comes to Stuttgart

With the defending champion and world number one Iga Swiatek (Poland) at the top, the world's elite will appear almost as one in the Porsche Arena. Other top 10 players include Australian Open winner Aryna Sabalenka (No. 2), Ons Jabeur (Tunisia/4), WTA Finals 2022 winner Caroline Garcia (France/5), Coco Gauff (USA/6), Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan/7), Daria Kasatkina (8), Maria Sakkari (Greece/9) and the 2019 Stuttgart winner Petra Kvitova (Czech Republic/10). A total of seven Grand Slam winners will serve, including Porsche brand ambassador Emma Raducanu (Great Britain).

Thanks to a wild card, Jule Niemeier and Tatjana Maria, who won the WTA tournament in Bogota last weekend, are currently the best German players in the main draw. Emma Raducanu and former world number two Paula Badosa (Spain) receive a top 20 wildcard. In the strong qualifier for the WTA 500 tournament, former Wimbledon finalist Sabine Lisicki returns to the big tennis stage after a long injury break. She is given a wildcard, as is the young German player Noma Noha Akugue from the Porsche Talent Team.

The winner of the 46th Porsche Tennis Grand Prix drives off in a Neptune blue Porsche Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo from Stuttgart: The practical all-rounder among electric sports cars impresses with its great design, superior performance and long range. Its output is up to 460 kW (625 hp), the overboost output with launch control is up to 560 kW (761 hp). The most powerful version of the Sport Turismo accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. The combined range (WLTP) is between 430 and 458 kilometers. During the tournament week, the sports car is clearly visible on a pedestal on Center Court as motivation for the players - more motivation is not possible!

"Aces for charity": Porsche donates to help Ukraine

75 years of Porsche sports cars: This time, the "Aces for Charity" campaign as part of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is all about this anniversary. “We will donate 356 euros for every ace hit. The sum is based on the first Porsche 356,” says Sebastian Rudolph, Head of Public Relations, Press, Sustainability and Politics at Porsche AG. "In this way, Porsche is once again giving an impetus to social responsibility and donating money to people who are in need through no fault of their own." The Agapedia Foundation, the Baden-Württemberg State Sports Association and the Ferry Porsche Foundation are using the donation amount to support Ukraine Aid projects.

Racket Sports World celebrates an exciting premiere

As part of the supporting program of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, visitors will experience Racket Sports World for the first time, a unique festival of racket sports. A hands-on and adventure program is offered for the sports of tennis, padel, table tennis, badminton and touch tennis. Sporting highlights in the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle are the Yonex One Tennis-Point Grand Prix, the international badminton match between Germany and the Ukraine (Sunday, April 23, 12 p.m.) and the first German championship in touch tennis. Autograph sessions by the stars are again part of the attractive supporting programme. The performance of the world-famous Stuttgart Ballet before the finale on Center Court promises a treat for the senses.

Show match with Andrea Petkovic

Under the motto "Next Gen, please", a special show match will take place on Monday, April 17th after the second main game on Center Court: In a doubles game, young players from the DTB youth teams Andrea Petkovic and Anna-Lena Herzgerodt (formerly Grönefeld) as representatives of the "golden generation". The teams are coached by head national coach Barbara Rittner and Anke Huber, the sports director and two-time winner of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix.

Afterwards there will be a musical highlight on the center court of the Porsche Arena: in addition to her top hit "Gold", shooting star Loi will present other songs from her repertoire.

Multimedia adventure world for tennis fans

Even if you can't follow the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix live in the Porsche Arena, you don't have to go without a rally. The tournament will be broadcast live in Germany by Eurosport, Tennis Channel and Porsche Tennis TV. The Porsche Tennis TV offer on the tournament website porsche-tennis.com will be expanded to include broadcasts from the training grounds and a look behind the scenes. The broadcasts start on Monday at 12 noon. The two singles semi-finals will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., with the final starting on Sunday at 1 p.m. The individual transmission times can be found on the tournament website. Porsche Team Germany in the Billie Jean King Cup

Before the first serve at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, Porsche Team Germany is in action in the Billie Jean King Cup: in the qualifying round on April 14th and 15th, they will face Brazil in the Porsche Arena. The team of national coach Rainer Schüttler is tackling this difficult task with the best of players – with Tatjana Maria, Jule Niemeier, Laura Siegemund, Anna Lena Friedsam and Eva Lys from the Porsche Talent Team. The winning team qualifies for the final round in November.
