WTA Monterrey: Five match points saved - Leylah Fernandez defends title

As in 2021, Leylah Fernandez won the title at the WTA Tour 250 tournament in Monterrey. However, the Canadian had to fend off five match points against Camila Osorio in the 6: 7 (5), 6: 4 and 7: 6 (3).
