There are three tournaments in the 250 category available to men on three different continents. In Singapore, indoor hard courts are played, as is Montpellier. Cordoba has the first clay court tournament of the year.
For Singapore, among others, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Casper Ruud pulled out, with Marin Cilic there is at least a Grand Slam winner. Adrian Mannarino tops the seeding list ahead of John Millman.
Andy Murray received a wild card in Montpellier. With Roberto Bautista Agut, David Goffin, Dusan Lajovic and Hubert Hurkacz, four top 30 players serve. Jannik Sinner named Struff just like Jan-Lennard. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will make his comeback on the tour, Lucas Pouille is playing his first ATP tournament since the injury break.
Nadal in Rotterdam
Diego Schwartzman is the only player from the top 10 who will be in action for the coming week. He called for Corodoba. In addition, Benoit Paire, Dominik Köpfer and Nicolas Kicker play, who was immediately given a wild card by the organizer after his suspension. In the qualification, Nicolas Jarry will also celebrate his return to the ATP tour, the Chilean recently had to serve a doping ban.
In the week after next, Rotterdam (ATP 500, including with Nadal, Medvedev, Zverev) and Buenos Aires (ATP 250, including with Schwartzman, Garin) are on the program. The first Masters tournament of the year is set to rise in Miami on March 24th.
Few WTA tournaments
The WTA calendar is much thinner with tournaments. In the week after the Australian Open, only one tournament in the 500 category will take place in Adelaide. World number one Ash Barty has received a wild card for the event.
In the first week of March there are tournaments in Doha and Lyon, the WTA tour will not be held until April on clay court tournaments. After all, there should be a normal tournament schedule in the grass season .
