Carlos Alcaraz - a spy at Wimbledon?
Carlos Alcaraz remains on course for the final at Wimbledon. However, the allegations of espionage against him seem unjustified.

Novak Djokovic was reportedly not very enthusiastic.
The training grounds at Wimbledon, well, they're public. At least for a certain number of fans and for a while also for journalists. For the teams themselves? There doesn't seem to be a time limit to see what your colleagues are up to in Aorangi Park.
This is nothing new for Djokovic either. Nevertheless, he was upset on the Serbian news portal B92 that Carlos Alcaraz's father had filmed him during training. Everyone looks over your shoulder, wants to see what you're working on. The Daily Telegraph described it as a "spygate" and as a sign of tension in Djoker.
Carlos Alcaraz was also asked about the topic - and was irritated. His father is a big tennis fan and is at the facility all day. "He doesn't just watch my matches. He comes into the club at 11 a.m. and leaves at 10 p.m. at night. He watches everyone's matches and training sessions. And if he sees Djokovic in real, yes, maybe it's true that he then even filmed."
However, he does not expect any advantage from this, according to Alcaraz. "There are enough Djokovic videos on all platforms. I don't think that would be an advantage for me."
Papa Alcaraz apparently innocent
The crazy thing, as it later turned out: the filmmaker wasn't Alcaraz' father at all, but an employee of the media company Relevo, who only stood next to Papa Alcaraz and spoke to him. The Serbian media accidentally saw him as a member of Alcaraz's team.
Not as bad as you might thought? Apparently. And currently unimportant anyway. Because in the Wimbledon semifinals, Djokovic first plays against Jannik Sinner and Alcaraz against Daniil Medvedev.
For a possible final, both will probably view video material of the other. But as Alcaraz says: there are enough of them.
