Rafael Nadal: wife Xisca in clinic - is the US Open shaking?
Bad news for Rafael Nadal: His pregnant wife Xisca was hospitalized in Spain.

This is reported by the Spanish newspaper Diario de Mallorca .
Perello is said to be undergoing an operation there on the advice of her doctors and will remain under surveillance to avoid complications. She is currently in the 31st week of pregnancy, the birth of the first child of the two should be towards the end of October.
Will this affect Rafael Nadal's participation in the US Open? So far that doesn't seem to be the case.
On Wednesday, Nadal was already on the match court at a benefit event in aid of Ukraine .
The US Open begins on August 29th.
