It was a nice concerted action a few days ago when almost every major tournament in the professional tennis circuit pushed the trailer for the Netflix series Break Point through their social channels. The first five episodes will be released this Friday. As has already been announced, Nick Kyrgios will be the focus for the time being (which hasn't damaged the Australian's self-confidence).

Expectations are high following the success of Drive to Survive. And will likely be disappointed. Because while in Formula 1 all protagonists take part in all races, a story can continue in this way, the tennis elite actually only meet at the four majors and at a few 1000er events.

Wimbledon and the US Open not on Murray's side

Now, even among the Formula 1 aces, not all pilots actively participated in the production. As in the tennis scene, where some of the stars watched history from afar for the first time. And have observed amazing things - like Andy Murray. A few years ago, Amazon produced a documentary about the three-time major champion (“Resurfacing”). Apparently under different conditions than Netflix has now found.

"Just seeing the number of people following the players at tournaments/slams was interesting to see," Murray tweeted Monday. "Big crews. With access everywhere. Quite a stark contrast to my documentary a few years ago when Wimbledon and the US Open couldn't have been less accommodating."
