Andy Murray donates all prize money - until the end of the year
Andy Murray gives everything – on the pitch anyway. But now he really gives it his all. And all his prize money that he will earn by the end of the year. In a three-part post on Twitter, the Scot spoke up.

Andy Murray made a big gesture via Twitter on Tuesday night. In several posts, the three-time Grand Slam champion announced that he intends to donate his entire prize money to the benefit of Ukrainian children - by the end of the year.
"Children in Ukraine need peace - now."
Translated, Murray writes, "Over 7.5 million children are at risk from the escalating conflict in Ukraine, so I'm working with UNICEF to provide urgent medical supplies to help with early childhood development."
The second post reads: "Vital education continues, so UNICEF is working to provide displaced children with access to learning and to support the rebuilding of damaged schools and replacement equipment and furniture."
In the third post, Murray then comes to the prize money: "I will be donating my earnings from my prize money for the rest of the year, but anyone in the UK can support UNICEF's humanitarian work by donating to our appeal and following this link - https:/ /unicef.uk/am_ukraine . Children in Ukraine need peace – now.”
An exhausted Andy Murray creeping across the court will be seen with different eyes in the future. Again at the side of coach Ivan Lendl, the 34-year-old will run, curse and sweat. On the one hand for himself and his passion - on the other hand for all the children in Ukraine.
