Anett Kontaveit and Bernarda Pera in the Hamburg final
World number two Anett Kontaveit from Estonia and the in-form American Bernarda Pera are playing for the title at the WTA tournament in Hamburg.

Kontaveit won her semi-final against the Russian Anastasia Potapova 6: 3, 7: 5 and is reaching for the first tournament victory under the German coach Torben Beltz, once the successful coach of the three-time Grand Slam winner Angelique Kerber.
Pera beat Belgium's Maryna Zanevska 6-2, 6-4, for number 81 in the WTA ranking it was the eleventh win in a row. Pera had won the clay court tournament in Budapest last week - at the age of 27 it was her first title on the WTA tour.
Andrea Petkovic was the last German to drop out on Thursday. The 34-year-old from Darmstadt gave up against Kontaveit when the score was 6-0, 2-0 due to an adductor injury.
