The number one of the ATP Tour 500 tournament in Astana, Carlos Alcaraz, had signed off against Jaume Munar on Tuesday morning, without a trace, for number two, Daniil Medvedev, things went much better. Because the Russian won against Albert Ramos-Vinolas 6: 3 and 6: 1 and thus made it into the round of 16.
