The ATP 250 tournament in Florence is not only important to Andrea Gaudenzi because of his Italian origin. He also associates the memory of his own matches with it.

Sinner not seriously injured

When asked about Italian Jannick Sinner, Gaudenzi said he spoke to his agent and was told his ankle was not causing him any serious problems. The twelfth in the world rankings knuckled against Holger Rune in his semi-final match in Sofia and is now pausing. The South Tyrolean also missed the 250 in Florence. The performances in Vienna, Paris-Bercy, possibly at the ATP Finals in Turin are not in danger.

And then there's the Davis Cup in Malaga. The Italian team is one of the favorites at the start. However, the prerequisite for this is a fit Jannik Sinner, who should score the points in the individual alongside Matteo Berrettini.

Nadal's participation in ATP Finals

In addition, Andrea Gaudenzi also gave an assessment of Rafael Nadal, who became a father for the first time this week. Gaudenzi hopes the Spaniard will take part in the ATP final, citing his belief that Nadal has never won the event. This is the only victory on the tour that he is still missing.
