ATP Challenger Prague: Sebastian Ofner loses final against Dominic Stricker

Dominic Stricker won the ATP Challenger tournament in Prague. The Swiss defeated Sebastian Ofner 7:6 (7) and 6:3 in the final.

Sebastian Ofner missed a great chance of winning a tournament on the Challenger Tour: The Styrian was already leading 6:2 in the tie-break of the first set in Prague against Dominic Stricker, but still had to give up the short decision 7:9. In total, Ofner missed five set balls. In the second round, Stricker, who has been accompanied by Dieter Kindlmann on the tour for a few weeks, was enough with a break to make it 5:3.

Dominic Stricker took 75 points for the ATP charts for his success in Prague and will improve to position 115 in the ATP world rankings. Sebastian Ofner also made up a few places and is in 122nd place in the live ranking.
