ATP Estoril: Tiafoe after marathon, Korda with lightning victory in the semifinals

Frances Tiafoe had fun at Estoril on Friday night. And a lot of fun for the viewers. The charismatic American seemed to be on the losing side against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, most recently a finalist in Monte Carlo, but turned back a 2:5 deficit in the third set. And won after a playing time of almost three hours with 7:6 (5), 5:7 and 7:5.
Sebastian Korda, on the other hand, today's opponent of Tiafoe in the semi-finals, made short work of top favorite Félix Auger-Aliassime. Korda was the last player to reach the semifinals with a 6:2 and 6.2. If it is up to the head-to-head, then Tiafoe will meet his compatriot - he has won the two previous duels.
In the second semi-final, the roles are clearly divided: but defending champion Albert Ramos-Vinolas will be warned. Because his opponent Sebastian Baez from Argentina is playing a very strong season. Especially on ash.
