Pierre-Hugues Herbert beat Ugo Humbert in two sets

In the quarter-finals, Pierre-Hugues Herbert caused a medium-sized sensation with his success over defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas, and a day later the 29-year-old managed to build on this strong performance in the semifinals against Ugo Humbert.

Herbert gave his compatriot Ugo Humbert, who in turn had fended off a match point in the round of eight against Arthur Rinderknech, no chance in the 6: 3 and 6: 2 success and will win his first individual title on the ATP tour in the final on Sunday play.

However, this test will by no means be easy, as Daniil Medvedev, the big tournament favorite, is waiting for the French. The Australian Open finalist benefited from an injury-related task from Matthew Ebden in the first semifinals of the day.
