John Isner has won eight doubles titles in his remarkable career so far, two of the biggest alongside Jack Sock: in 2018 and last year the two triumphed in Indian Wells, Isner followed up again in Miami in 2022 together with Hubert Hurkacz. In 2016, Sock and Isner also won in Shanghai. When it comes to double successes, Jack Sock is on another level: Among the 17 titles there are two Wimbledon successes (2014 with Vasek Pospisil and 2018 with Mike Bryan) and one each at the US Open and the ATP Finals (the latter also with Bryan).

In Indian Wells, the power duo Sock and Isner are in the semifinals again. The 6: 2 and 6: 4 against Simone Bolelli and fabio Fognini was comfortable, in contrast to the first round, in which Isner / Sock against the reigning French Open champions Marcelo Arevalo and Jean-Julien Rojer only in a match tiebreak won. In between, Kevin Krawietz and Fabrice Martin had to believe it.

In the semifinals, Socj and Isner are now up against Matthew Ebden and Rohan Bopanna, who were also able to hold their own in two sets against Félix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov. In the upper half of the tableau, the quarter-finals must first be played. Tournament favorites Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski are still in contention for the title.
