The draw at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Monte Carlo resulted in the quasi-local hero Richard Gasquet for Dominic Thiem. In a possible second round game, Holger Rune would wait.

Stefanos Tsitsipas was present when the first round games were drawn at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Monaco. And of course the short and concise ceremony also brought Dominic Thiem's opponent to light. Richard Gasqueut will start on the other side of the court at the Monte Carlo Country Club - an unpleasant but not impossible task for Austria's number one.
