Here is the match to read in the live ticker.

The two Italians only stood for 75 minutes in the last match of Friday's quarter-finals on the Rainer III court in Monte Carlo. Then Jannik Sinner made it clear with 6: 2 and 6: 2 that he would enter the preliminary round at the traditional Sand Masters for the first time. And even if Sinner politely stated after the match that the result did not reflect the much tighter course of the game: the South Tyrolean was clearly the leading player. What was clear after just a few minutes: Because the match had hardly started, Jannik Sinner was already 4:0 in the lead.

The next task will probably be more difficult: Because Holger Rune has also confirmed his strong form against Daniil Medvedev and won quite easily with 6:3 and 6:4.

The second match of the semifinals will be contested by Andrey Rublev and Taylor Fritz. Rublev ended jan-Lennard Struff's run, Fritz dethroned two-time defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas.
