In the end, Jurij Rodionov fought back with all his strength and parried the first two match points of his opponent Illya Marchenko in the qualifying final for the ATP Tour 250 event in Moscow. After almost 85 minutes of play, the Austrian had to pack his things. Marchenko won 6: 4 and 6: 1 and was able to secure a place in the main field.
Despite Daniil Medvedev's rejection, the tableau is led by three local heroes: Andrey Rublev starts as number one, followed by Aslan Karatsev and Karen Khachanov.
