Nothing came of Stefanos Tsistsipas' second tournament victory at the ATP World Tour 250 tournament in Stockholm: The Greek lost the final of the traditional indoor hard court event against the Dane Holger Rune after 92 minutes of play 4: 6, 4: 6.
Tsitsipas won the event in the Swedish capital in 2018. Back then he beat Latvian Ernests Gulbis in the final with the same result he was beaten by the Danish teenager today.
The 19-year-old won his first title on the ATP tour in Munich at the beginning of May this year. He is the only U20 player to have more than one men's title to his credit this season.
Tsitsipas is on duty in Vienna next week, Rune has signed up for the competitive event in Basel.
