This was announced by the two-time French Open winners on Sunday evening on social networks. "After four unforgettable years, the time has come to start a new chapter," Mies wrote on Instagram.
Krawietz (30/Coburg) will go on tour with his Davis Cup partner Tim Pütz (Frankfurt) in the new season, while Mies (32) from Cologne will compete with the Australian John Peers.
Krawietz and Mies played their first tournament together in August 2017, and in 2019 and 2020 they won the French Open together. "I will remember many moments. I hope not so many encounters, and if so only in the final," Krawietz wrote on Instagram.
On Saturday, the doubles failed at the Masters in Paris in the semifinals and thus missed the last ticket for the ATP Finals in Turin (November 13th to 20th).
