Because of course the Djoker is right at the top: Novak Djokovic started his year brilliantly, with victories at the ATP Cup, the Australian Open, in Dubai. And refilled after the tour resumed in Cincinnati. And if the disqualification at the US Open hadn't happened - who knows?
The world number one has played 34 of his 46 matches on hard court and won 30 of them. A rate of 88.2 percent, which brings him to the top of the hard court record in 2020.
Quite a surprise in second place: Gael Monfils has won 80 percent of his hard court matches, mainly thanks to his tournament victories in Montpellier and Rotterdam. In the meantime, "La Monf" was undefeated for twelve matches. After the Corona break, however, the Frenchman remained without a win, the big tournaments are missing the big result ... a total of only 20 matches are included in Monfils.
Place 3? Andrey Rublev - with 79.5 percent wins. Clearly one of the player of the year, even if a breakthrough in the big tournaments is still a long way off. Round of 16 Australian Open, quarter-finals US Open, kick-off in Cincinnati ... But: tournament victories in Doha, Adelaide, St. Petersburg and Vienna!
