Dominic Thiem is going to the US Open 2022 with two victories under his belt. After the narrow opening win against JJ Wolf and the surrender of Grigor Dimitrov in round two, Thiem was up against Jack in the round of 16 of the ATP Tour 250 tournament in Winston-Salem Draper finish. The Brit won 6-1 and 6-4 and will play in the quarter-finals against either defending champion Ilya Ivashka or Switzerland's Marc-Andrea Huesler.
