Alexander Zverev is doing well : After his triumph at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Cincinnati, the Hamburg native climbed to fourth place in the world rankings, leaving Rafael Nadal behind. There are only industry leaders Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas ahead of him. The 24-year-old is just 110 points short of the Greeks.
Otherwise nothing happened in the top region of the world rankings: Dominic Thiem, Andrey Rublev, Matteo Berrettini, Roger Federer and Denis Shapovalov complete the top ten behind five-placed Nadal.

Zverev's tournament victory in the state of Ohio was also noticeable in the Race to Turin. In this, the German even made up two places, he also ranks fourth. The first three positions are occupied by Djokovic, Tsitsipas and Medvedev.
Berrettini, on the other hand, slipped and is now in sixth behind Rublev. Behind is Nadal, who will not take part in the year-end finals of the eight best players due to a foot injury. From the current perspective, Casper Ruud (8th) and Hubert Hurkacz (9th) have a good chance of qualifying. The first pursuer of the two is the South Tyrolean Jannik Sinner.
