Daniel Stricker prevailed 6: 4 and 6: 2 against Leonardo Riedi in the all-Swiss junior final. Stricker had defeated Lukas Neumayer, the only Austrian participant, in the quarter-finals. It was the first win for a Swiss junior since Stan Wawrinka in 2003.
There was a home win for the girls: Elsa Jacquemot, who crashed in the quarterfinals last year against the eventual winner Leylah Fernandez, beat Alina Charaeva from Russia 4: 6, 6: 4 and 6: 2. The last French woman to triumph in Roland Garros among the juniors was Kristina Mladenovic in 2009.
In the wheelchair category, Alfie Hewett from Great Britain won the title. Favorite Shingo Kunieda (Japan) had to give up on lap one. For women, however, the victory went to Japan: Yui Kamichi won the final against her compatriot Momoko Othani 6: 2 and 6: 1.
