Sinja Kraus has advanced to the second qualifying round for Roland Garros 2024 with a three-set win against Elizabeth Mandlik. The Austrian was already one break behind in the deciding match.

Strong fighting performance from Sinja Kraus. The only Austrian participant in the qualifying competition for the French Open 2024 won her opening match against Elizabeth Mandlik 7:6 (6), 3:6 and 6:4. Kraus was already one break behind in both the first and third sets.
In the second round, Kraus will face either sixth-seeded American Haley Baptiste or Greek Valentini Grammatikopoulou.
