Novak Djokovic has slowly returned to training in the past few days. As is not only the case with the Serbs, fans were able to take part in some sequences of the training sessions of the industry leader in his Spanish domicile in Marbella.

It may be interesting that Djokovic Asche chose the underground. Perhaps because he expects professional gaming to resume on this site? Maybe to spare the joints a little? Perhaps due to a lack of alternatives?

Whatever the reason: This Friday Novak Djokovic is celebrating his 33rd birthday, a calorie bomb in the form of a mighty birthday cake cannot be expected from the ascetic first in the world rankings. At 33, a Björn Borg had long been a tennis pensioner, and Andy Roddick, at that age, had already focused on life outside the court. Not so Novak Djokovic, for whom the corona pandemic did not exactly play into the cards: the jubilee won as many from 18 matches in the current year, only twice did he really worry about not leaving the court as the winner.

Djokovic 2020 only in two matches with problems

First in the final of the Australian Open, when Dominic Thiem appeared in the fourth round in a 2-1 set lead on the way to the first Grand Slam success. And in the semifinals of Dubai, when Gael Monfils was unable to score two match balls. Otherwise, Nole 2020 has a clean slate, would have been in the French Open, which should have started this Sunday, at least as a favorite.

How many major titles will Djokovic get? It also depends on the competition. And the circumstances under which the ATP tour returns. The number 33 has no longer played a role in the life of Novak when it comes to tournament tennis: the man from Belgrade won his 33rd title in 2012 in Shanghai and celebrated his 33rd ATP Masters 1000 triumph in Madrid a year ago. But although Novak Djokovic can do everything: he will probably not get 33 Grand Slam successes. As of today, 21 would be enough to go down in history as the most successful player of all time.
