The collaboration between Holger Rune and Patrick Mouratoglou really couldn't have started much better: At the end of the 2022 season, the duo really delivered - first title win at ATP Masters 1000 level and entry into the top ten included. So far, the Dane has not really been able to deliver on these high expectations in the 2023 season, but the cooperation between the star trainer and the youngster can be classified as successful.

Before the start of the European clay court season, however, it is now coming to an end, as Rune explained on Twitter. "I had the opportunity to borrow Patrick for a limited period," the Dane wrote on Twitter. "We've had an educational and fun six months. Now it's time to move on and apply the teachings to myself."

The Frenchman also looked back on a nice collaboration, the original duration of which had been exceeded by three months. "It was a pleasure to share this journey with you," said Mouratoglou. "I have no doubt that your bright future will hold great things. I remain your biggest fan," said the academy owner. The rune will remain connected even after the end of cooperation.
