Laver Cup: Stefanos Tsitsipas and Casper Ruud complete Team Europe
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Casper Ruud will line up for Team Europe at the 2022 Laver Cup. The selection of Björn Borg is complete - apart from a substitute that has yet to be defined.

Team Europe can once again build on an extremely powerful team at the Laver Cup in 2022. As the organizers announced on Wednesday, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Casper Ruud will also be part of Captain Björn Borg's selection. Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Roger Federer had previously confirmed their participation.
"The Laver Cup is an event I'm happy to attend because I can team up with my rivals and be part of Team Europe, playing against some of the best players in Team World," said Tsitsipas, who will be playing for the third time on Am latest team competition in tennis.
Ruud with second participation
Ruud was also happy about his nomination, for the Norwegian it will be the second appearance at the Laver Cup: "I'm proud to be part of the historic line-up of Team Europe. It was a great experience to be there in Boston and I can't wait to have these incredible players as teammates in London."
While the Europeans are now complete save for a reserve player who has yet to be nominated, Team World captain John McEnroe still has two spots up for grabs. To date, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Taylor Fritz, Diego Schwartzman and Jack Sock have been nominated. The Laver Cup takes place in London from September 23rd to 25th, all four previous editions have gone to Team Europe.
