Hubert Hurkacz and Stefanos Tsitsipas are the names of the first two ATP Masters 1000 champions of the 2021 tennis season. The Pole surprisingly but no less impressively grabbed the Miami title, Tsitsipas finished his flawless week in Monte Carlo with a final victory a few days ago crowned Andrey Rublev.

Matteo Berrettini is a man who did not speak righteously about the title at these tournaments. And yet the Italian was delighted with the two champions in Belgrade: "I think it's good for tennis that the big three don't win all the tournaments they play. The situation at the Grand Slams is a bit more complicated. but I think something will change soon. "
Achievements of the young generation an incentive
This is not due to the fact that the Big Three are not getting any younger, no, rather it is due to the great level that the young generation is now slowly but surely bringing to the field more consistently: "It spurs me on to keep improving so that I have my options, "said the Roman, who will start the race in Belgrade as number two behind Novak Djokovic.
Berrettini knows exactly what it takes so that he can have a say in this title in the future, as the world number ten in Serbia emphasized: "I know what I have to do to be on the same level as this group of young players. You have already shown that they can play at a high level and that they have more experience in games of this caliber. I hope I can be part of that group of players who can play in the best tournaments. "
