Mouratoglou supports Halep - and is happy about Rune

Patrick Mouratoglou announced in his Instagram story that he would support Simona Halep until the matter was over. A day after it was revealed that Halep had tested positive for taking an illicit substance at this year's US Open. Halep denies knowingly doping, the "thing" is probably not over yet.
The Romanian is currently taking a break anyway, after she underwent an operation on her nose after the last major of the year. Not just for medical purposes, as the former world number one also announced on social media.
Rune about to win the second tournament
And so, for the rest of the 2022 season, Mouratoglou has joined Holger Rune's coaching team, who already trains more often at his academy near Nice. And Rune is trumping in Stockholm: after his hard-fought victory against Cameron Norrie in the quarter-finals of the ATP Tour 250 event, the Dane also had to go the full distance against Alex de Minaur in the semi-finals on Saturday. Rune won 4: 6, 7: 6 (1) and 7: 5 and is about to win his second tournament on the ATP tour. He celebrated the first this spring in Munich.
In the final tomorrow, Sunday, Rune will face either tournament favorite Stefanos Tsitsipas or Emil Ruusuvuori.
