Will Nick Kyrgios serve in Serbia next season?

Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic seem to be finding each other more and more. While the duo has been anything but friendly for long stretches in recent years, the situation has changed massively since the Serb's failed entry to the Australian Open at the beginning of the year. Also because Kyrgios resolutely stood behind the Serbs in this difficult situation. And also this year advocated for the participation of the record winner.

Another outgrowth of the good relationship: high-spirited conversations on social media, primarily on Instagram. After Novak Djokovic recently asked a video of the Australian, where he can be seen serving, whether that was his serve preparation, which can be seen here, Kyrgios replied exuberantly: "It's so funny. Yours is worse. Buddy, you need 47,283,728 hours to serve."

Djokovic was not disturbed by this attack - which was admittedly not meant very seriously: "You're right. Sometimes, but not always. I have to work on your ultrasonic speed routine," wrote Djokovic. Kyrgios shared this chat via screenshot - saying he never thought it was possible to have conversations like this. The man from Canberra is probably also addressing the relationship between the two in the recent past.

And the relationship between the two top stars could get another boost soon. As Kygios bluntly announced via Instagram, he plans to start at the Serbia Open next year. "Novak and I will have a rematch in his hometown next year," said the Australian, who apparently is not yet aware that the ATP 250 event will move from Belgrade to Banja Luka next year. One thing is certain: the tournament organizers are already in talks with the Australian.
