Novak Djokovic: 3 conspiracy theories about Djoker

Novak Djokovic once again mastered the 2023 season fantastically, won three Grand Slam titles - and, at the age of 36, ended the tennis year as first in the world rankings. Which begs the question: Can this all be real? We doubt. Probably right.

You know us: We at tennisnet.com are guided by facts. But sometimes there are things that are simply inexplicable to the average person. The expansion of space. TikTok. The popularity of pickleball. Or Novak Djokovic. Because what the “Djoker” has done again this year is unbelievable. A thought: What if Novak Djokovic doesn't exist?

Thesis 1: Djokovic is actually Spiderman!

The way Djokovic moves around the court, even at the blessed age of 36, is unbelievable in our opinion. These balancing acts. The stretchability. At some point, the theory that he has been stretching every day since he was a child is a good thing. (Let's say here that we can hardly bend over without help.) Our question: Have you ever seen Novak Djokovic and Spiderman in the same room? No? AHA!

Thesis 2: Djokovic implemented a hedgehog

Almost all men suffer from androgenetic alopecia at some point. So hair loss. You notice a receding hairline at an early age, and at some point you can no longer make yourself look nice (or make it smaller) about the unfavorable cowlick at the back of your head. But the fine Mr. Djokovic feels like he has the same hairstyle as when he was 18. What the authors of these lines view with suspicion, envy and even more envy. Our theory: Djokovic's hair is not real. He had a hedgehog transplant.

Thesis 3: Djokovic sends his twin onto the pitch!

How can this man be so fit again so quickly after marathon matches? One thing is clear: Novak has an identical twin brother, who may even have been lost for a long time: Novax Djokovic. Who didn't want to be vaccinated at the time, was sick with Corona and had to be in custody in Australia for the real Novak. The fact that celebrities have a doppelganger appear is not an isolated case and has been well documented. Think of Franz Beckenbauer and Schorsch Aigner.

Let's see if any more highly-founded theories about "Nole" or other tennis players come to light in the next few days. There really is a lot to doubt about our favorite sport... ;-)
