He came to win: Novak Djokovic makes no secret of the fact that he wants to win the gold medal at the Olympic Games and thus lay the foundation for a possible Golden Slam. So far, this feat has only been achieved by the German women's tennis legend Steffi Graf in 1988. As expected, the start against Hugo Dellien was easy for Djokovic at 6: 2 and 6: 2, in round two on Monday Jan-Lennard Struff, against whom the industry leader has won all five previous games.

After the Serb arrived in the Japanese metropolis on Tuesday, there were all sorts of interesting visits to be made, some of which made their way onto social media channels. It is particularly interesting how the 20-time Grand Slam champion seems to be preparing for his first round.

The world number one did not leave out a physical argument with a sumo wrestler, nor an impressive balancing act with colleagues from the gymnastics area.

Okay, tennis was also practiced by "Nole". Sparring partner was none other than two-time Olympic champion Andy Murray. If anyone knows how to get hold of the coveted precious metal, it is the Scot, who is plagued by injuries.
