A simple Twitter message is not enough to be certain that Peng Shuai is doing well. The President of the German Tennis Association, Dietloff von Arnim, said this to Deutschlandfunk on Saturday. Steve Simon, head of the WTA players' organization, recently in a CNN interview did not rule out the possibility of withdrawing WTA tournaments from Peng Shuai due to the still unclear situation - even if this means major financial losses for women’s tennis could. Von Arnim supported this attitude.
Peng Shuai wrote on the Twitter-like medium Weibo earlier this month that he had been sexually abused by former Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Zhang Gaoli, 75. The entry in the social media was deleted, since then there has been no trace of Peng. Photos that emerged on the Internet and circulated by the Chinese state media and an alleged email from Peng only increased concerns about the situation of the former world number one in doubles.
A video has now been released showing Peng Shuai at an official ceremony in Beijing. This was officially announced by the Chinese side.

Does this refute all doubts? Because the world public has not yet heard anything from the athlete herself.
