Roger Federer is the highest paid athlete of the year 2020. This is partly due to the prize money the Swiss receives on the tour, but also due to his extremely high sponsorship contracts. The Swiss advertising value leaves a wide variety of brands, such as Uniqlo or Barilla Millions, for a collaboration with the 20-time Grand Slam champion.
As part of the partnership with Barilla, there was recently a spectacular advertising video in which Federer demonstrated his skills with racket and felt ball on roof terraces. In addition to a surprise for the two women, who presented the scenery to a global audience at the beginning of the year, there was also a short conversation with the current fourth in the world rankings.
The recovery process is progressing well
At the beginning it is about the last few weeks of the Swiss, especially how the recovery process of his knee is going: "I concentrated on the recovery process and on maintaining social distance and complying with the rules. I was in with my family and friends Switzerland and tried to work as hard as possible for my knee. But everything is going well and I can't wait to get back on the tennis court soon, "said Federer.
As it should be for a pasta manufacturer, the topic of conversation quickly changed to the culinary arts when Federer was asked how he was doing with the diet: "The secret of a healthy and balanced diet remains everything in moderation. Whatever you do "You have to do it in moderation, but you also have to enjoy the food," quoted Ubitennis.com from the Swiss.
Eating together is extremely important
He would actually always eat pasta before games, since this is a meal that he will get well, as Federer explains: "I have now played almost 1500 games and I still love it like the first day. It is important to to stay in good health." If it is not exactly a pre-match meal, the Swiss particularly enjoy taking time for meals.
"We really put a lot of effort into it and make sure that we all come together around the same table once or twice a day, but definitely several times a week," said Federer. "I think it's important to talk about our day, what happened, and not just sit down, eat quickly and run away. For me it's a nice way to end the day or even a great opportunity to see each other and catch up because all of our lives are very busy. "
