"You look younger - what's your magic potion?" Novak Djokovic wanted to know right at the start of the Instagram live chat with Stan Wawrinka. "You don't want to know. It is not a vegan option, ”said the Swiss. And in this pitch it went on between the two multiple major champions. Djokovic stops at 17 after winning the Australian Open, Wawrinka has won three of the four largest tournaments in the tennis world once. And always defeated Djokovic: 2014 in Australia in the quarter-finals, at the French Open 2015 and a year later at the US Open in the final.

In fact, chef Wawrinka has always resorted to animal products over the past few weeks: be it cheese fondue, lasagna or, of course, a professionally put together burger. A good red drop should not be missing.

Wawrinka and Djokovic are also very receptive to praise from outside. Especially if this praise can be shared - because if it is written that Nole has the best ambidextrous and Stan has the best one-handed backhand, then both are happy with it.

Wawrinka also asks Djokovic tough questions

But even sensitive issues were not left out: Wawrinka asked directly how Djokovic coped with the fact that in matches against Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal the spectators were mostly in his opponent's camp. Wawrinka's theory was that there shouldn't be three “good guys” in every good film, but at least one “bad guy”. And that Djokovic was given this role by the audience.

Djokovic himself could not give a definitive answer to the question. He was extremely confident on the ATP tour. And although he had a lot of respect for Federer and Nadal, of course he also wanted to beat the two champions. And that's exactly what it said. However, he does not believe that his behavior has contributed to anything that would support Wawrinka's theory of the "bad guy". He rather attributes it to the fact that Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are simply big champions with a big worldwide fan base.
