The official balance of the ATP for Stefanos Tsitsipas in the current season already shows 72 matches. One would think that the Greek would need a break, even if Tsitsipas showed up again last week in Astana with his final appearance. But there are still events in the Wiener Stadthalle and then in Paris-Bercy, a 500 and a 1000, so the 24-year-old can count on good chances for both.
All the more surprising that Tsitsipas has now accepted a wildcard for the upcoming ATP Tour 250 event in Stockholm from Monday. Apparently a few reserves have been discovered in the camp of the current fifth in the world rankings.

In any case, the competition for Stefanos Tsitsipas in the Swedish capital is not bad: With Taylor Fritz, who just won in Tokyo, and Cameron Norrie, two other current top ten players have been named. From a German-Austrian point of view, only Oscar Otte has registered in Stockholm. With the current cut from ATP rank 76, nobody else would have had the option of a main field place. With the exception of the injured Alexander Zverev, of course.
