How hard does Dominic Thiem work for his success? What do superstars Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Co. think about Lichtenwörther? And what is important in life for Dominic Thiem apart from the tennis court? You can find out that and much more in "The Thiem Spirit".
Of course there are exclusive videos from Thiem's beginnings. "In 1997 we were on vacation in Greece and went for a walk on the beach, one hour in the direction, one hour back. He continuously simulated forehand and backhand shots", Wolfgang Thiem recalls the early years. "When he was at home or in the hotel room, he used to play with tennis rackets and soft balls - or normal ones - on the wall. He kept himself busy with rackets and balls."
The ServusTV documentary also shows how Thiem really learned the craft from teacher Günter Bresnik. Bresnik had once weaned Thiem's two-handed backhand and did not allow himself to be dissuaded from failures and prophecies of doom at the beginning.
Everything about Dominic Thiem - from tennis to his musical love for Matthias Reim and Michelle - on Monday, March 22nd from 9:15 pm on ServusTV and in the media library!
