Thierev finally reunited

The event in Dubai, which runs from December 19th to 24th, promises not just a mixed tennis tournament, but also “the biggest show on the court”. 18 world-class tennis players meet six artists and merge into a symbiosis. Each day ends with a concert by one of the best artists in the world. DJ Tiesto, DJ Armin van Burren, musician Wizkid and singer Ne-yo will be there, among others.

The preparation

There are four teams of four or five players that compete against each other. Team "Falcons" with Sabalenka, Djokovic, Dimitrov and Badosa. Team "Hawks" consisting of Zverev, Thiem, Rybakina and Kontaveit. Team "Kites" with Bouchard, Auger-Aliassime, Swiatek, Monfils and Mirza. And finally Team "Eagles" led by Kyrgios with Seppi, Garcia, Andreescu and Bopanna. Like the ATP/WTA Finals, the games will be decided in round-robin mode. One men's, one women's singles and one mixed doubles awaits us each day.

Thiem and Zverev reunited

Dominic Thiem's and Alexander Zverev's most famous meeting was the final of the US Open 2020. The Austrian finally won this thriller, but at the latest when you hugged the net you could see that the two athletes should actually compete with each other instead of against each other. Now the dream of the tennis player friends is coming true and in a worthy constellation. The German gold medalist will stage his comeback against Novak Djokovic before taking on Nick Kyrgios. Thiem plays doubles with Anett Kontaveit against Dimitrov/Badosa and Bopanna/Andreescu. He will play his singles against Frenchman Gael Monfils on December 22nd.
