Grand Slam record champion Rafael Nadal will start for Spain, and world number one Iga Swiatek for Poland. France arrive with newly-crowned WTA Finals champion Caroline Garcia, while Greece boast top-10 duo Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari. A total of 16 nations are registered for the tournament in Perth, Brisbane and Sydney, with two more teams to be announced on November 21st.

In addition to Zverev (Hamburg) and Niemeier (Dortmund), Oscar Otte (Cologne), Daniel Altmaier (Kempen), Laura Siegemund (Metzingen) and Anna-Lena Friedsam (Neuwied) are also on the entry list for Germany. The double specialists Fabian Fallert (Bad Urach) and Julia Lohoff (Bielefeld) will also be there.

In group and subsequent knockout matches, a total of $15 million in prize money and 500 points each for the ATP and WTA rankings are at stake in Australia. At each encounter, two men's and two women's singles as well as one mixed will be played. The final tournament of the top four nations will take place in Sydney from January 6th to 8th.
