United Cup: Tsitsipas victory too little - Italy beats Greece thanks to Bronzetti

Italy reached the final of the United Cup on Saturday. Lucia Bronzetti scored the decisive point against Greece to make it 3-1.

Italy are in the final of the first edition of the United Cup! The Italians prevailed against Greece in Sydney and will fight for the title on Sunday. Lucia Bronzetti got the decisive point with a 6:2 and 6:3 win over Valentini Grammatikopoulou.

Stefanos Tsitsipas had previously asserted himself in a high-class men's singles against Matteo Berrettini. The 2021 French Open finalist defeated the world number 16. with 4:6, 7:6 (2) and 6:4. The 0:2 mortgage from the previous day was ultimately too big for the Greeks.

Italy meets the USA in the final. The North Americans didn't give Poland a chance in the first semi-final and clearly won 5-0 .
