Great reward for Sebastian Ofner: The organizers of Wimbledon gave a wild card to the Styrian, who lost to Jason Kubler in the final at the Challenger in Ilkley on Saturday. If he had won the tournament in Ilkley, Ofner would have been one of the 128 players starting at the third major of the year.
Ofner had recently reached the round of 16 in Roland Garros from qualifying, where he failed due to Stefanos Tsitsipas.
